Football Win With Suzuki
When the inaugural Lime Pelican Football Challenge climaxed last Independence Day [in Barbados] with Jose y Jose Bajan Pride Ballers emerging as champs, there were three other winners on the field that night: Winslow Harewood, Keisha Mayers and Marlon Agard - the winners of the Simpson Motors Drive-Free promotion.
Simpson Motors' Marketing Manager, Kevin Beckles, explained that the three lucky contestants each drove away with a new Suzuki free for one month, inclusive of $300 in petrol. “These winners were chosen at the finals in the most dramatic and exciting way possible: 10 persons each trying to open one of three cars with a key they had randomly drawn, in front of a packed Kensington Oval!”
The three winners recently completed the Drive-Free month, and they each spoke highly of the experience. Marlon Graham, who drove the Suzuki SX4 Cross-Over stated, “It was a great experience. The car drives like a dream. It's so smooth I almost forgot there were potholes in Barbados. It handles well, and the steering is superb. Plus it's fantastic on gas. It was a really good month for me.”
Keisha Mayers, the lone female among the final 10, was equally positive about the Suzuki Swift. “Overall the car is excellent. It's efficient on gas; comfortable and has good speed. I owned a Suzuki Liana before so this isn't my first Suzuki, but the Swift is an improvement all around. And it's surprisingly spacious for a compact car. I have a family member looking for a car right now and didn't consider the Swift before; but now she is.”
“The month passed too fast,” were the first words out of David Gaskin's mouth in describing his time in the Suzuki Celerio. He continued, “The car drove well… really smooth. Good fuel economy. My family also enjoyed driving with me and they think it's a good car. They are encouraging me to buy one now.”
