S-Cross won “The best concept car award”
The S-Cross was highly rated for its sophisticated design as an evolutional crossover car indicating the direction of the Suzuki's future engineering.
From the list of the nominated cars by The China Foreign Trade Guangzhou Exhibition General Corporation and supporting media companies, the S-Cross was selected to receive this award through the internet and mobile phone votes, the result of the public votes at the motor show site, and the result of the selection by the experts.
S-Cross (concept model)
The S-Cross is the first C-segment cross-over category concept model from Suzuki that was launched at the Paris motor show in September 2012.
The S-Cross is designed to express “Emotion” by dynamic ridge lines running from the front bumper to the rear of the body, “Quality” by a mesh front grille consists of dark chrome and silky chrome and by innovatively designed roof rails which are flush with the roof line when not in use, and “Aerodynamics” by a roofline which slopes downwards towards the rear and by smooth contours on the sides of the front bumper, at the bottom of the doors, and on the sides of the rear bumper. Crossover toughness is expressed by a front skid plate, boldly flared wing arches and under moldings, and 20-inch chrome wheels.
