Barbadians Fall In Love With New Suzuki Ciaz
It was love at first sight on Valentine’s Day for scores of Barbadians who turned up at Simpson Motors to get a first look at the new Suzuki Ciaz, unveiled at the Warrens, St. Michael dealership on Saturday, February 14.
Sales manager, Nicholas Davis, explained that the new vehicle combines a roomy comfortable cabin with great performance and excellent fuel efficiency: “These are some of the key qualities sedan buyers are seeking and the Ciaz captures this and much more.”
“We are extremely excited about this car and it definitely won the hearts of all those who came out to test drive on Saturday. We kept hearing comments about the sleek look, the spaciousness, its numerous features and, of course, the affordability,” Davis explained.
Michelle Haynes, who attended the launch said: “I am very impressed. I am a SUV driver but I must say this vehicle handles really well on the road. It was very responsive, sturdy and sits well. The interior is also very nice and the price is definitely attractive.”
Paul Hutchinson, Managing Director of Venture Car Rentals and the first buyer of the vehicle in Barbados explained that he and his team were very excited about getting the Ciaz on the road: “We were in the process of replacing one of our vehicles and when the sales team at Simpson Motors introduced us to the Ciaz we were very impressed. I must say, after all the information and photos provided, the real thing has definitely lived up to our expectations.”
“The vehicle is very roomy, drives well and is really attractive inside and out, especially with the leather and cloth finish of the seats. Another plus is the range of features on the Ciaz which aren’t normally found on a vehicle at that price point, so it is great value for money for us.”
Davis expanded on the many unexpected features of the Ciaz. “Standard features include a keyless push start system, a rear view camera, rear parking sensors, automatic air conditioner and an automatic dimming day/night rear view mirror. Additionally, there are thoughtful touches for back seat passengers like adjustable rear air conditioner vents and personal reading lamps.”
Davis also emphasized that the vehicle is incredibly spacious with more than ample headroom, legroom and shoulder room in both the front and rear, along with a large-capacity trunk.
He added, “With Suzuki, safety is paramount, and the Ciaz is no exception: dual front airbags, seatbelts with pretensioners and force limiters along with ABS (Anti-lock Brake System) with EBD (Electronic Brake-force Distribution) are all standard.”
