Suzuki Brand Ambassador
Suzuki Brand Ambassador, Chelsea Tuach, has won the World Surf League Shoe City Pro in Huntington Beach, California. This is the first event of the World Surf League's Qualification Series and a dream start for Tuach.
Chelsea surfed strong all event long, showing off her powerful backhand attack and dropping the highest single wave score of the Ladies' event in her quarterfinal heat which she dominated against Hawaiian Mainei Kinimaka and US surfers Rachel Presti and Alexxa Elseewi.
She progressed to the Final alongside the event wild card, Samantha Sibley, to face off against US surfers Tia Blanco and Kaleigh Gilchrist.
Tuach emerged victorious with a two wave total of 14.30 to Sibley's 13.27.
Blanco was third with a heat total of 12.56 and Gilchrist fourth with 7.10.

It has given me belief in my ability and confidence as I head into the Australian leg of the season" said an elated Tuach shortly after emerging from her heat as the Women's Champion.
