Be The Change: Beach Cleanup with Suzuki Marine & Chelsea Tuach

 

On May 21st, 2023, at 7:00 am, the sandy shores came alive with the unstoppable team from Suzuki Marine and Inchcape Caribbean on an epic mission – to clean up the beach and save our marine friends from harmful garbage! And guess what? They had an extra-special guest on board - our brand ambassador, International Surfer Chelsea Tuach!

Imagine the sun rising on the horizon, waves crashing gently, and a group of enthusiastic volunteers, accompanied by the talented surfer herself, heading to East Coast, St. Andrew in Barbados, armed with determination and trash bags. It was all part of Suzuki's incredible Global Clean Ocean Project, and they were ready to make a difference!

From sunrise to sunset, our eco-warriors, including Chelsea Tuach, worked tirelessly, combing the coastline for any signs of trouble. And boy, did they succeed!

It wasn't just about tidying up the beach. It was about protecting our precious marine life, the awe-inspiring coral reefs, and even our own health. Garbage on the beach can spell disaster for our underwater friends, and our champions, including Chelsea, took it upon themselves to spread awareness about the dangers of plastic to marine life while they worked their magic.

Suzuki's Global Clean Ocean Project has been saving the seas since 2011, and in this latest endeavor, the fantastic team from Inchcape Caribbean, joined a global force of over 8,000 incredible people who have made a difference so far. That's some serious teamwork!

But this is just the beginning! The Project is all about sparking change worldwide, inspiring beach clean-ups like the one in St. Andrew. They're determined to cut down plastic packaging and put an end to marine micro-plastic waste. Go, Suzuki, go!

 At Suzuki Caribbean, we couldn't be prouder to be part of this epic adventure, especially with Chelsea Tuach by our side. Saving the ocean isn't just a mission; it's a calling we gladly answer.
