What is the Driving Range of the Suzuki e Vitara?
The e Vitara can travel up to 344 kilometers (213 miles) on a single charge with the smaller 49kWh battery and 426 kilometers (264 miles) when using the 61kWh battery.
How Long Does it Take to Charge a Suzuki EV?
Most models may take between 4.5 to 9 hours to charge, depending on the size of the battery. However, some models also support fast charging, allowing you to get from 10% to 80% battery capacity in as little as 45 minutes.
What is the Difference Between the Battery Options?
As stated before, the batteries’ primary difference is how much of a charge they can hold. Each one still has many of the same overall benefits that allow excellent energy retention.
Are Suzuki EV Batteries Safe in Hot Caribbean Weather?
Yes, our EV models utilize lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) battery chemistry, which specifically allows them to last much longer in warmer climates.
Do I Need to Install a Special Charger in My House?
While installing a charger at home gives you the most reliable method for recharging your EV, you do not need to do so yourself. Instead, you can take your vehicle to one of the many Suzuki charging stations across the Caribbean and use the Suzuki Smart Charge app to locate the one nearest to you.
Do Chargers Come with the Purchase of a Vehicle?
Suzuki charging units are included in the purchase price of your vehicle, so you don’t have to worry about finding a charging station for your new EV.
Are Suzuki Electric Vehicles Cheaper to Maintain?
EVs are generally cheaper to maintain than their gas-powered counterparts, as they don’t have to rely as much on certain materials or fluids, such as engine oil.
Can I Drive My EV in Heavy Rain or Flooded Streets?
Yes! It is perfectly safe to drive your EV in heavy rain or through normal puddles. The e Vitara's battery pack and high-voltage electrical systems are fully sealed and heavily waterproofed. However, just like with a gas-powered car, you should never attempt to drive through deep, standing water or flooded streets, as doing so can be incredibly dangerous and cause severe damage to the vehicle.
Will Using the Air Conditioning Drain My Battery Faster?
While running the AC does use some energy, the impact on your overall range is minimal. The e Vitara is equipped with a highly efficient smart climate control system that is specifically optimized to cool the cabin quickly without causing a massive drop in your battery life.
